I created Chi. Connects because I needed it.
I wanted somewhere that felt like a long conversation with a friend who really knew the region – someone who could tell me what was on this weekend, where to go, whose story I should know about, and what other women were navigating behind closed doors.
I couldn't find that place. So I built it.
The world is loud. We're constantly connected, yet somehow still missing the things that matter most – the stories, people and moments right in front of us.
I wanted somewhere that felt different. A place that felt good to open. Local, thoughtful and genuinely worth your time.
Chi. Connects is where you'll find real stories, trusted recommendations, local events and hidden gems from across the Central West. Not a networking site. Not a highlight reel. Just a warm, honest corner of the internet that feels like home.
For women who want something that fills their cup instead of emptying it.
The She behind Chi.
I'm Rae. A solo mum, communicator, storyteller and someone who knows what it feels like to lose yourself a little in the busyness of life.
Chi. Connects has been part of finding my way back to the things that matter – connection, community and the stories that remind us we’re not doing life alone.
My hope is that it becomes that for other women too. Not through pressure or perfection, but through the comfort of knowing someone else gets it.

Why Chi?
Chi is a word that has carried meaning across cultures and generations – often described as the life force that flows through all living things.
It felt right.
Because that's what I see in the women of the Central West. The quiet force behind everything they build, create, carry, and hold together.
The women raising families, running businesses, supporting communities, showing up for others and somehow still finding a way to keep going.
Chi isn't loud. It's the warmth of a conversation that runs longer than expected. The feeling of finding your people. The reminder that you’re not the only one figuring it out as you go.
That's Chi. That's why we're here.
