Orange Wine Festival

Friends enjoying a wine at the Orange Wine Festival

10 days. Forty-plus events. If you've been meaning to properly explore what the Orange wine region has to offer, this is the excuse.

The Orange Wine Festival runs from Friday 16 October to Sunday 25 October, and it's built for people who want to do more than just visit a cellar door. Kick things off at the Night Markets in Robertson Park on opening night, local winemakers and chefs, live music, long communal tables, and no rush to be anywhere else (dogs have to sit this one out, sorry).

From there, the program spreads across the region. There's a hop-on hop-off wine bus running every festival Saturday if you'd rather leave the driving to someone else, intimate Vintners Table dinners paired course by course with local wine, and a progressive tasting through Millthorpe with stops at Angullong, Slow Wine Co, and Tamburlaine.

It all wraps up on 25 October with Sip & Savour at the Orange Showground, over 300 wines from the 2026 Orange Wine Show under one roof, straight from the people who made them.

10 days is a big ask on the diary, but this is the one worth clearing it for.
